Closure of the CDE

The ACP-EU Council of Ministers, during its meeting on 19-20 June 2014 in Nairobi, Kenya, decided “to proceed with the orderly closing of the Centre for the Development of Enterprise (CDE)” by the end of 2016.

Potato culture in DRC

Upon request of extension workers and technicians, the CDE has published a new guide on the culture of potato in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Southern Africa: a new generation of entrepreneurs

Public-private dialogue meeting on beef value chain

The beef sector is strategic for Botswana's economic diversification. On 17-19 November 2014, a public-private dialogue meeting will be held in Gaborone to examine the outcome of a value chain analysis of the beef sector and discuss the related action plan. It will gather Southern Africa and European stakeholders.
